I bought this bag for my toddler daughter who moved up to a room in daycare that did not provide a fridge for milk. That is another issue... It was very important to me that the bag keep milk for her lunch. I pack her bag in the morning around 7am and it is still cool at 5:30pm!!! The ice pack is still cold when I return it to the freezer in the afternoons. I also purchased a Thermos that maintains drinks cold so between the two, her milk is ice cool about 11 hours. I found that out by accident but was so relived and grateful for finding this bag. She loves the purple color. My husband has actually hand washed and hanged the bag a few times since we bought it and it is in mint condition despite an active 2.5 year old owner. Love them! We use them on a regular basis when traveling. Whether for when we travel out of the country and like to take our own food to save on $$$ as well as knowing we will have food the kids like or to a camp site and we are in the car a few hours . . . . everything stays frozen. We just love them for packing lunches, travel, baby food & formula, and small grocery items especially on hot days. These coolers keep everything cool for a long time and are very roomy. We just throw the whole bag in the freezer in between uses but the ice packs are removable if you have limited freezer space. Love the shoulder strap as well. Can't think of anything I don't like about this cooler. |
