Container lids stay on but are purposely designed to fit loose enough to be easily removed by little fingers. (Not leakproof). The containers are recommended to be used with this EasyLunchbox cooler bag, carried upright.

I couldn't make it without these! I want the side containers to be spill proof (canned pears, peas and beans) so I just throw a piece of wax paper over that area and pop the top on.
