Container lids stay on but are purposely designed to fit loose enough to be easily removed by little fingers. (Not leakproof). The containers are recommended to be used with this EasyLunchbox cooler bag, carried upright.

The containers are made very well and very sturdy. The lids hold on very tight and can fit a sandwich without smashing it, as well as most any other kind of food item I can think of. The bag is fits the container perfectly, still leaving room for utensils and/or drink and even two containers if needed. The bag is also of good quality and the insides wipes clean quick and easily.
