I often take leftovers or a salad for lunch in a quart size plastic container along w/a bottle of water. These items fit in the bag, if I don't close it. The lunchbox itself packs more than you think as long as you stack things, but definitely not meant for someone who packs those rectangular pyrex dishes because they will not fit. There is no real closure system on the top, just one of those magnetic clasps that does stay shut as long as the lunch box isn't packed too full.Seems pretty sturdy but we are only on day 2 so we shall see... FYI - the picture shows a black and white lunch box and the one I received was tan-ish yellow and white. Definitely disappointed with the color (I have uploaded the picture if anyone wants to see what it really looks like) |
