They simply pop out at you. There is a pocket on the inside that is perfect for cutlery. The storage capacity of this lunch tote never ceases to amaze me. I have fit a can of fruit cocktail, a can of coca cola, and two food containers inside with room to spare. Items inside the tote stay relatively cool if kept out of the fridge, but I always keep mine in the refrigerator at work. Love the strap so you can carry it over the shoulder. The handles on the tote are okay, but I have to wrestled my hands out of them sometimes. Too bad I cannot put my hands on a diet. Totally love this tote! Well worth the price!I want to make a note too of how soft this tote is. I would not recommend this tote or any other Built lunch tote similar in design to this, because unless items inside are protected by a container they are very well apt to be crushed or smashed.
